Introduction to Design Thinking
Participants are introduced to the Design Thinking approach to problem solving. After a brief introduction participants are teamed up and given a brief to work on identifying, concepting and designing a new product for a particular market/consumer. Teams pitch back ideas at the end of the working session to the entire group.
This Workshop is a great team building activity. Ideal for non-designers to learn the Design Thinking methodology to help them solve complex challenges.

Meet and Make Workshop
Ideal for groups looking for time away from the office to meet in the AM and make in the PM. The workshop covers basic patterning, leather hand sewing, and sewing on industrial machines. Participants get to customize and build a Haystack Bag from start to finish. Meet and Make requires no previous sewing or making experience.
Level of Difficulty: Intermediate
Length: 4 hours for your team to meeting/work (AM) and 4 hours of making (PM)
Ideal Group size: 10+
Advanced Design/Build Workshop
Our Advanced Design/Build workshop last for 8 hours with a short lunch break. Both breakfast and lunch are catered. The full day workshops allow the participants to design their own unique bag which they then pattern and assemble. Our team walks each participant through how to turn their sketch or design into a 2D pattern in which they sew and personalize into their own unique project.
The full day workshop requires no previous sewing or making experience, however it is structured for the more serious designer or maker.
Level of Difficulty: Intermediate/Advanced
Length: 8 hours with a short lunch break
Ideal Group size: 7+
Studio Rental and Off-sites
Looking for a space to host an offsite, team meeting or party? Our studio is available for rent on a half day, full day or weekly basis. Studio rental includes use of our space, paper easels, standing height tables and an extra long 25ft meeting table.
